LBF Rising 1L Scholarship
The Legally BLK Fund is designed to provide financial support to young Black women aspiring to apply to law school and become attorneys. Only about 2% of attorneys in the United States are Black women. This fund seeks to reduce some of the financial barriers to accessing a legal education. We believe this is key to increasing representation in the legal field.
This scholarship is intended to cover expenses associated with applying to law school or starting the first year of law school at an accredited law school in the United States and is available to Black women who attend the LSM x DAAP Law School Summit in Chicago, IL on August 10th-11th, in-person or virtually. Tickets to the summit are available here, https://events.eventnoire.com/e/lsm-x-dapp-law-school-summit/tickets. You do not have to attend both days to be eligible for the scholarship but must participate in at least 1 full day.
